R&G Fluid Power Group opens new Technical Training Centre

The R&G Fluid Power Group has unveiled its latest venture, the cutting-edge Technical Training Centre (TTC), located within the premises of the National Distribution Centre in Lincoln. Backed by the formidable partnership with the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA), this state-of-the-art training centre was developed to become a statement in hydraulic and pneumatic training.

This groundbreaking project began in December 2023, when work commenced under the management of Tim Harper, Managing Director of Global Hydraulic Services Ltd and his dedicated team. Collaborating closely with colleagues in the Hydraulic Division of the R&G Fluid Power Group and the Central Marketing Team, the project took shape with meticulous planning and commitment.

A significant milestone for R&G Fluid Power Group

The establishment of the TTC marks a significant milestone for R&G Fluid Power Group, a renowned name in the industry known for its knowledge and excellence in fluid power solutions. With the backing of the BFPA, a leading expert in fluid power technology, the TTC is set to introduce everyday standards in technical training.

Moreover, the TTC features a spacious conference room for collaborative learning and a fully equipped training facility, tailored to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

What will the Training Centre provide?

A key highlight about the new TTC is its focus on both hydraulic and pneumatic training, with courses covering a wide range of topics, participants will have the opportunity to understand the world of fluid power systems, whilst mastering essential skills and techniques under the guidance of industry experts.

In essence, the opening of the R&G Fluid Power Group Technical Training Centre is for all, both customers and employees across the group. The training courses are catered for newcomers, experienced and advanced engineers, ready to empower the next generation of professionals in the fluid power industry.

The following courses available:

Hydraulics Training

  • Hose Assembly Technology
  • Level 1 and Level 2 Hydraulics (Vocational / Competence Certification)
  • Accumulator – Nitrogen Charge and Discharged Procedures
  • Proportional Control
  • Setting Up Pressure Compensated and Load Sense Pumps
  • Contamination Control
  • Inverter Drives combined with Hydraulics.

Pneumatics Training

Pneumatics Training will be delivered by Pennine Pneumatic Services Ltd.
